Manual telescopic built-in gangway 12_IN

The 12_IN retractable manual gangway couples the construction features and quality of our 123 series gangway, but is designed for recessed installation.
Made of 316L stainless steel, it consists of two hinged sections but the entire assembly slides on guides inside the box, disappearing completely when stowed. When not in use, the gangway remains hidden in its housing, revealing only an elegant, polished stainless steel front panel, perfectly integrated into the stern line. This solution combines functionality, clean aesthetics and minimal space, while maintaining the same practicality and robustness as the 123 series.

Thanks to the new belt system, opening and closing the gangway is simple, smooth, and always under control, without the need for motors or electrical systems. This mechanism guarantees safety and reliability over time, assuring the lightness and convenience of a fully manual operation.

Unlike the 123 and 1234 gangways, that stay on the platform, the 12_IN is not removable but offers the convenience of a gangway that’s always ready for use and completely invisible when closed. The great advantage of this configuration is a completely free aft platform, ensuring maximum space during navigation or docking. Another important advantage is the dimensional compatibility of the casing: the external flange of the 12_IN gangway has the same dimensions as the model 2375 retractable ladder; this ideally allows for the ladder and gangway to be installed in pairs—one on the left and one on the right side—thus achieving perfect aesthetic symmetry when closed, with two essential accessories on board.

Included in the supply it’s a rectangular safety stanchion, which makes the first step from the dock to the gangway more reassuring. The stanchion can be installed either on the right or left side. For those docking in ports with particularly high docks, the optional 123_BPI accessory is available, allowing the gangway to be used in an intermediate position: this increases the reachable height, while slightly sacrificing maximum length.

We offer the gangway in versions with a walking surface covered in EVA foam (12_INF), in synthetic teak (in the various colors) (12_INL), or without a covering for customization to match your deck (12_IN).
